Only when fine particles enter the interior of the meltblown fabric, the electrostatic effect and ultrafine fiber structure begin to play a role. The electrostatic field and particle flow capture bacteria and viruses, causing their proteins and nucleic acids to mutate and damage, destroying the surface structure of bacteria and leading to bacterial death.
